about me
I was born in the city of Mumbai, India. At the age of 6 years my family migrated to Israel, and later moved to Canada as I turned 13. As a result of these migrations, I have learned to speak 4 Internationally recognized languages: Hindi, Marathi, Hebrew and English.
I have always wanted to be a contributing member of the society. At the age of 6 years I decided that I will share my knowledge with my peers as much as possible while learning from them simultaneously. I was brought up in an environment where I learned to collaboratively work with all communities for their betterment as a whole. I served on the Government of Alberta Youth Advisory Panel Member as a volunteer for 4 years. In addition, I volunteered every Sunday between 8-12 hours for an organization called Feed the Hungry Calgary for 3 years.
I started working professionally at the age of 15 years, and have worked and studied full time ever since. Some of these areas include the customer service industry, hospitality management, as well as successfully worked in junior leadership roles at a corporate level. Realizing my strong passion for technology and innovation, I decided to pursue a career as a professional Mechanical Engineer.
Through these valuable experiences I have learned to be honest, loyal, dependable, communicative and supportive, while utilizing critical thinking, remaining straight forward and above all compassionate. I try to continuously incorporate these characteristics into my daily life, in order to improve myself and the world around me.
